Gonzalez – July 2010

We can’t believe the first half of the year is already gone! We have been very busy in the Amazon with seven different teams from churches around United States. We have done construction, installed Water Purification systems, Medical clinics, Native Youth Purity Conferences, Woman’s Conferences and feeding the children.

The most significant of all our activities has been to touch the people, to minister to their deepest need, preaching salvation and divine healing. In every meeting we have seen men and women, young and old, receiving Jesus in their hearts.

This trip was favored from the very beginning. God had everything under control and as challenges came we had peace, joy and knew it was all going to be OK! The weather was even in our favor! Cool breezes, rain and fewer mosquitoes!

This past month has been absolutely incredible! God has been doing so much here, moving greatly, and speaking so clearly.

We recently just had two teams here from the states, a youth group from Georgia and a young adults group from Texas. Both teams were amazing in helping us install a water filtration system in Brazil, build and replace a staircase leading from the river, painting, cleaning and so much more!

There we were trying to build the new and improved missionary house so that it can receive the indigenous students coming later this year. We were hard pressed by tons of work to do and few people and resources to do it with. Then, guess who shows up, FREEDOM!

The unexpected trip of March was a complete success!

We had a team from Alabama, one from Montana and a gentleman from Idaho that absolutely blessed the Amazon people and us in many ways!

The Alabama team consisted of High School seniors and some of their mother’s and teachers from their school. The Montana team consisted of four young guys that no job was too big for them!

They joined our Amazon team in Leticia and off we went to different villages to build eight tables for a children’s feeding station in Peru, painted walls in classrooms in Brazil, and held the First Woman’s Conference in Colombia!

We just returned from another trip to the Amazon with a church team from Alabama and another one from Montana. We ministered in several of the Children Feeding Stations, mostly in Brazil and Peru. We built eight tables for the children at the feeding station in Islandia, Peru where 150 children receive ministry and food each school day.

I am alive and well in Dallas Texas. I returned from Colombia in the beginning of April. March was excellent! As always the projects and people I was involved with were diverse. Teenagers from Leticia Colombia, Tikuna children from Brazil or aspiring adult boat drivers from various regions of Colombia. I was able to help with the feeding program, take a river navigation course, assist with a local church in Leticia and I finished my time in the Amazon by helping install a water purification system in Perú.

The Bostics – April 2010

While traveling a few weeks ago we had the opportunity to speak and share about God’s goodness and how He is actually looking to and fro throughout the whole for someone to bless and come through for. While traveling through Dallas, Adam was invited to share about our adventures in missionary life at Christ For the Nations. He challenged the students with story after story of real mission field experience that involved close calls and last minute supernatural provision and direction! He told them that they should attempt great things for God and to put themselves in a position for God to show Himself strong on their behalf. Please remember that God is looking for ways to bless you also! Spend an hour in prayer and ask Him how He wants to do it.

Tania and I greatly appreciated your love, prayers and your interest in our missionary work. This last year here in the Amazon basin has been a time of adjusting to a new life style, not only as a young couple but as a new missionary family with a destiny to fulfill.

We are totally aware of the unique opportunity we have here to reach out to the un-evangelized tribes in the Amazon jungle and the strategical position we have been placed in by God.
