Statement of Faith
God
There is one true God, Existing eternally as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The triune nature or Trinity is God, being one in three persons. Isa. 43:10-11, John 10:30
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ was sent by God the Father to manifest God to man and to become the Redeemer of a lost world. Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and voluntarily accepted the Father’s will and became the sacrificial Lamb to take away the sins of man through His death on the cross. On the third day after His burial, He rose again and was received into heaven where He now rules over all things and makes intercession for His people. Matt. 1:23, 1 Pet. 2:22, 2 Cor. 5:21
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who indwells believers at the moment of their conversion and empowers believers to live the Christian life. The most significant evidence is a supernatural ability and motivation to witness. We encourage believers to seek and experience a more fulfilling relationship with God. At the same time we provide a margin of tolerance on legitimate but controversial doctrinal issues. Acts 1:4-8, 1 Cor. 12:1-31
The Scripture
We believe that the Bible is the authoritative and infallible revelation from God to man. 2 Tim. 3:16-17
Man
Man was created good and upright. However, Adam by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God. God created Adam and Eve and from their children the earth was populated. God established the pattern of one man married to one woman as the only acceptable practice for a holy sexual union. Gen. 1:26-27, Gen. 3:6, Rom. 1:26-27, I Cor. 6:9-11
The Church
We are a trans-denominational ministry that seeks to serve and cooperate with all segments of the body of Christ.
We believe that all who are united to the risen and ascended Christ are members of His Church regardless of denominational affiliation. Having become members one of another, all are under solemn duty to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, rising above doctrinal differences and loving one another with a pure heart.
Eph. 1:22-23, Heb.12:23
Salvation
Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. By repentance toward the Lord Jesus Christ, and by the washing, regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:5-7, Luke 23, John 19
Healing
Divine healing is an integral part of the Gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers. Matt. 8:16, 17, James 5:14-16
Ordinances
Baptism by immersion in water is commanded in the Scriptures. Holy Communion, or The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements of bread and the fruit of the vine, is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ. Rom. 6:4, I Cor. 10:16, Mark 16:16
The Eternal State
We believe that after death, those who have trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ shall be resurrected and be reunited with Christ in heaven. Those who have not believed in Christ will be separated from God forever. Matt. 25:46, Rev. 19:20
